Eid Prayers Rules 2020 :
Secretary of the Islamic Foundation Kazi Nurul Islam told Prothom Alo that eid ul Fitr prayers are not being held in open space this time as per the government instructions to avoid corona infection. Eid prayers will be held in the mosque. Everyone who comes to the mosque to perform prayers must follow the rules of hygiene. Must wear a face mask. The physical distance must be maintained while performing prayers. Children, the sick, and the elderly will not be able to take part in the Eid prayers.
Corona infection was detected in the country on March 8. In the last 24 hours, 26 people have died due to corona infection. A total of 480 people have died so far.
Which must be obeyed
The Ministry of Religion has requested to perform Eid ul Fitr prayers in the mosque in compliance with the health rules. The Ministry of Religion issued a directive on 14 May. There, instead of Eidgah or open space this year, Eid prayers are requested to be offered in the mosque near the congregation.
Kazi Nurul Islam, secretary of the Islamic Foundation, said four sanitation booths have been set up around the Baitul Mukarram mosque so that worshipers can perform Eid prayers following hygiene rules. Worshipers can sanitize and perform prayers in the mosque. Hand washing has been arranged.

The secretary of the Islamic Foundation said that every year, five Eid prayers will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Eid Jamaat will be held at 8 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am and 10:45 am. If there are worshipers, then another Eidul Fitar prayer will be held at Baitul Mukarram.

The Ministry of Religion has requested to refrain from hugging or shaking hands after performing Eid ul Fitr prayers. For the convenience of all, the worshipers have been requested to follow the instructions of the health service department, local administration, and law enforcement agencies.
