The results of the SSC and equivalent examinations, which are in doubt due to coronavirus, will be released next Sunday. On the same day, at 10 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the process of publishing the result of SSC 2020 examination through video conference from the Prime Minister’s official residence Ganobhaban. Then at 12 noon Education Minister Dipu Moni will present the details of the results through Facebook Live.
Candidates who have pre-registered will be informed of the results by sending a text message to the designated mobile number on the day of publication of the results. So far, more than 11 lakh candidates have pre-registered. Meanwhile, the pre-registration period on mobile has been extended till 2 pm on Saturday to know the results.
In the Corona situation, there is no opportunity to go to the educational institution and know the result. For this, the education boards have made arrangements for the students to get the results more easily along with other methods of technology including the website as before. In this system, the candidates who have pre-registered in the prescribed manner will be automatically notified of the results on their mobile phones before the day of publication of the results.
The pre-registration process, which started on May 16, will be open till 2 pm on Saturday. Earlier, the registration time was till 12 noon on May 29. Manjurul Kabir, the senior systems analyst at the Dhaka Board of Education, told Prothom Alo that a total of 11,33,331 candidates had pre-registered till 58 minutes today.
The total number of candidates for SSC and equivalent examinations held last February was around 20 lakh.
Pre-Registration Rules result of SSC: For pre-registration, you have to enter SSC Board Name (first three letters) Roll Year from any mobile operator’s number and send it to 16222. A charge of Tk 2 can be deducted for each SMS.
