School College Holidays Secondary and Higher Education
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has fixed May 30 as the School College Holidays due to coronavirus. An order has been issued in this regard on Wednesday. Educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 16 due to coronavirus.
However, the government has indicated that the holiday could be extended until next September if the current coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic situation continues. According to the pre-announced syllabus, secondary school holidays have been fixed till May 30 on various occasions including Ramadan and Eid. In addition to these occasions, there are summer vacations in the college till June 16. Now the leave of two types of institutions has been extended till May 30.
The leaving order says that during the holiday, they have to stay at their respective residences to protect themselves and others. Apart from this, during the closure of the educational institution, the students of class VI to X will regularly take the lessons of the program ‘My school in my house’, which is regularly broadcast on Sangsad TV or social media. At the college level, the principals will continue the educational activities of the students in the distance learning system using information technology under their management.
